"Il Risparmio che fa Scuola" grows: new goal of 2 million students
On the occasion of World Savings Day on October 31, "Il Risparmio che fa Scuola", the financial education project promoted by CDP and Poste Italiane, relaunches its commitment to bringing younger generations closer to the topics of savings and financial awareness.
The project's goal is to provide young people with the skills and tools to make more informed economic choices through a financial education pathway that begins in the classroom and continues at home, involving teachers and families as well.
"Il Risparmio che fa Scuola" delves into the concepts of savings, personal finance, and investments, alongside sustainability - in line with the UN 2030 Agenda goals - and the gender gap.
The second edition, launched on October 31, 2024, initially set a goal to reach 1 million students in five years, by 2029. By July 2026, the project had already involved over 600,000 students, 13,000 schools, and 14,000 teachers, surpassing half of the projected target in just two years.
In light of these results, the goal has been doubled to reach 2 million students by 2029. School registrations will also resume this December.
