In Europe
We promote dialogue with European Union institutions to strengthen Italy’s role within Europe. Through our Brussels office and an established network with the EIB Group (European Investment Bank), the main National Promotional Institutions and other partners, we act as a platform connecting EU policies with national priorities, facilitating access for Italian businesses and public administrations to opportunities offered by EU programmes.
InvestEU
The CDP Group plays a leading role in the implementation of InvestEU, the European Commission programme supporting investment and employment. The initiative aims to mobilise more than €420 billion in private investment to support the green and digital transition, infrastructure development, and SME growth.

The association brings together 33 European long-term investors with the goal of providing financial resources and advisory services to support infrastructure development, small and medium-sized enterprises, and innovation.
JEFIC
The network brings together 5 Europe’s leading public development institutions (AECID, AFD, BGK, CDP e KFW), fostering coordination of EU and strengthening the impact of international cooperation.
GIURI
The platform brings together liaison and representative offices at European institutions for Italian stakeholders active in research and innovation, and facilitates sharing of know-how on EU funding programmes.
NEFI
The network consists of 19 financial institutions from 18 European Union Member States and UK working to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises through financing and guarantees.
International engagement
CDP maintains an ongoing dialogue with embassies, diplomatic missions and international decision-makers, fostering partnerships and initiatives that strengthen its global role and enhance Italy’s appeal as a destination for sustainable investment.
Through this international network, CDP plays an active role in major global forums on development, finance and sustainability, contributing technical expertise and institutional perspectives on issues of global importance. These include G7 and G20 meetings, the Spring and Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, the UN Climate Change Conferences (COP), and other high-level international events involving both public- and private-sector stakeholders.

The Forum brings together public financial institutions and development banks to foster collaboration and develop shared strategies that support economic growth and infrastructure development.
Mediterranean Dialogues
The Mediterranean Dialogues (MED Dialogues) are a public diplomacy initiative that brings together institutions and experts to promote cooperation and stability across the Mediterranean region.
