The selection process is structured in several stages and is conducted according to the principles of merit, transparency and equal opportunities. Once applications have closed, candidates’ profiles are reviewed to identify those that best match the requirements of the position. Candidates who progress in the process take part in further assessment stages designed to explore their skills, motivations and aptitudes, as well as their alignment with CDP’s internal quality model, values and culture. The various stages and selection methods may differ depending on the role being recruited for. At the end of the process, feedback is provided to everyone who has taken part in the selection process.

Business
This area focuses on the promotion and development of CDP’s products and services, including the origination, execution and management of loans and guarantees, investments and divestments in equity instruments, funds, securities and other financial instruments. It also supports public administrations through specialist advisory services and the management of European and national funds. For roles in this area, we primarily seek candidates with an academic background or professional experience in economics, finance, law or engineering.
Governance
This area supports the definition of corporate strategy and governance, institutional relations, engagement with national and international stakeholders, corporate communications and media relations, as well as financial and non-financial reporting. For roles in this area, we primarily seek candidates with an academic background or professional experience in economics, law, political science and international relations, communications or marketing.
Support Functions
This area encompasses the functions that support the organisation’s day-to-day operations, including technology and cybersecurity, legal affairs, human resources, workplace management, health and safety, and procurement. For roles in this area, we primarily seek candidates with an academic background or professional experience in the social sciences, law, political science, economics, engineering or other STEM disciplines.
