CDP RETI: approval of a new bond issuance for a maximum total amount of Euro 750 million
Rome, 27 January 2022 h. 10:13 – The Board of Directors of CDP RETI S.p.A. (“CDP RETI” or the “Company”) today approved the issuance of a new bond by CDP RETI (the “New Bond”). The proceeds of the New Bond will be used by the Company to fully repay the indebtedness arising from the bond issued by CDP RETI in 2015 and expiring on 29 May 2022.
The New Bond, for a maximum total amount of Euro 750 million, unsubordinated and unsecured, could be issued in one or more tranches and would be placed exclusively with institutional investors and listed on the regulated market of the Irish Stock Exchange (Euronext Dublin).
CDP RETI Spa is an investment vehicle owned by Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (59.1%), State Grid Europe Limited, part of State Grid Corporation of China Group (35%), and a group of Italian institutional investors (5.9%). CDP RETI’s mission is to manage the investments in SNAM Spa (31.35%), TERNA Spa (29.85%) and ITALGAS Spa (26.02%).
