We Love Art: art meets industry with Fondazione CDP and MAECI

Eight works of art inspired by eight of the CDP Group’s main investee companies tell the story of Italian enterprise abroad through a combination of creativity and industrial production

Creating synergy and dialogue between artistic creativity and industrial production, to tell the story of Italian enterprise abroad through the language of art.

This is the goal of We Love Art - Vision and creativity made in Italy, the cultural patronage project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and Fondazione Cassa Depositi e Prestiti set up to support Italian artists under 35 to create of works of art through meeting with eight of the CDP Group's main investee companies.

The initiative, curated by art critic Ludovico Pratesi together with curator Marco Bassan, seeks to encourage the union of art and industry, promoting a new form of patronage based on public and private partnership.

Ansaldo Energia, CDP Immobiliare, ENI, Open Fiber, Snam, Terna, TIM and Webuild  are the eight CDP Group companies that have inspired the same number of young artists - Namsal Siedlecki, Amedeo Polazzo, Tomaso de Luca, Benni Bosetto, Alice Ronchi, Giulia Cenci, Giulio Saverio Rossi and Lulú Nuti - to create the works to be exhibited on an international tour launched today in Seoul, organised with the help and support of embassies, consulates and Italian Institutes of Culture.

The exhibition itinerary will continue in Chongqing, China, where We Love Art will open its doors on 10 December 2021, and then to the cities of New York, Mexico City and Cairo, finally ending in Berlin June 2022.

Through the partnership with the MAECI, Fondazione CDP is furthering its commitment to the operational culture field by responding to the “Improving Italian cultural and artistic excellence through targeted partnerships” and “Strengthening the CDP Group's artistic, archival and real-estate heritage” Action Lines.
