Mario Valducci

Mario Valducci holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Bocconi University in Milan. He began his career as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Cooper in Milan, where he worked from 1983 to 1987.

From 1987 to 1993, he held a series of management positions within the Fininvest Group, ultimately serving as director of internal operational audit.

In 1994, he left the private sector to pursue a career in politics and was elected to the Italian Parliament, where he served for five consecutive legislatures until 2013. During this period, he was appointed undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Economic Development and served as chairman of the Transport Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.

After deciding to conclude his parliamentary career, he was appointed a member of the Italian Transport Regulatory Authority, serving from August 2013 to October 2020.

From May 2021 to October 2024, he served as director of the Regulatory Office at FiberCop.

He has been chairman of the board of directors of Invimit SGR since July 2024.

Since October 2025, he has served as chief executive officer and general manager of Fintecna S.p.A.
