Biography


Mauro Gola has been Chairman of CDP Reti since June 2026.
 

Mauro Gola is born on 15 January 1966 and he holds a degree in Administrative Sciences and Labour Consultancy from the University of Turin, where he wrote his thesis on open-source software as a development and business model.


An entrepreneur in the information technology sector, he has held technical, commercial, and executive positions throughout his career, including serving as chairman and chief executive officer of Versya S.p.A. – A&C Holding, where he led the company's growth and the digitalisation of operational processes for businesses and professional firms.


Since May 2024, he has served as chairman of the board of directors of the Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo Foundation.


From 2017 to 2023, he served as president of Confindustria Cuneo, having previously held a number of positions within the Confindustria system, including vice-president with responsibility for credit and chairman of the Small Industry Committee. He also served on national governing bodies and thematic committees.


Within the Italian chamber of commerce system, he served as president of the Cuneo Chamber of Commerce from 2020 to 2024, after previously serving as its vice-president. He also held a number of national positions, including membership of the executive committee and national coordinator of the presidents of Confindustria-affiliated chambers of commerce.


Over the course of his career, he has also served as a member of Confindustria's National Executive Council, the board of Unioncamere Piemonte and the board of directors of Banca Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano, in addition to holding numerous positions with organisations dedicated to economic and business development.


He has been awarded the honour of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
