CDP-Confindustria agreement: the roadshow dedicated to businesses kicks off in Rome

CDP and Confindustria launched the “Together for the Future of Enterprises” roadshow, a series of nationwide events designed to listen to business needs and present CDP Group solutions.

The first stop was held in Rome on Wednesday, 17 September at LUISS Guido Carli University, where CDP Chief Executive Officer Dario Scannapieco and Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement aims to support infrastructure for the energy transition and the circular economy, investment in innovation and digitalisation, the revival of Southern Italy, youth entrepreneurship and sustainable housing. CDP and Confindustria will work to define new alternative-finance and credit-access instruments, private equity and venture capital solutions and initiatives for international expansion and development cooperation.

Dialogue with the business community will be strengthened through the roadshow, which after Rome will make stops in ten major Italian cities.

Speakers at the inaugural event also included Luiss President Giorgio Fossa, Unindustria President Giuseppe Biazzo, Director of Confindustria’s Research Centre Alessandro Fontana, CDP’s Head of Sector Strategy and Impact Andrea Montanino, CDP’s Business Director Andrea Nuzzi, CDP Venture Capital Chair Anna Lambiase, CDP Real Asset Chief Executive Officer Giancarlo Scotti, Simest Chief Executive Officer Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, CDP’s Head of International Cooperation & Development Finance Paolo Lombardo and IFC (International Finance Corporation) Regional Director for Europe Ines Rocha.
