The EU Taxonomy is becoming a central topic of the EU agenda, but what is it exactly? The Taxonomy is a classification system establishing a list of eco-sustainable economic activities. Such list will help the European Union and EU Member States in steering businesses, investors and citizens towards projects and initiatives respectful of the environment and ecosystems.
What are the main features of Taxonomy? What is the commitment of CDP in this regard? Why is it so important to broaden its perimeter to include social issues? These and other questions were addressed by Gaia Ghirardi – Head of Sustainability at CDP and "observer" of the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance of the European Commission - in the latest podcast of the association ELTIa (European Long-Term Investors Association).
