Rehabilitation and technological innovation: €25 million from CDP and Intesa Sanpaolo for the Don Gnocchi Foundation

The two financial institutions will promote the renewal of the healthcare facilities of the Don Carlo Gnocchi Foundation and the expansion of the network with the opening of a new centre in Jesi

Establish a new rehabilitation and care centre in the Marche region and technologically enhance the existing healthcare facilities in the area. This is the goal of the financing for 25 million euro granted by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Intesa Sanpaolo to the Don Carlo Gnocchi Foundation.

Present in nine regions with two Scientific Hospitalisation and Care Institutes (IRCCS), 25 residential facilities and 28 local outpatient clinics, this Third Sector Entity represents a national point of reference in the field of intensive rehabilitation and assistance for vulnerable individuals.

In detail, the initiative is structured in two main strands. The first involves the establishment of a new highly specialised clinical centre in the city of Jesi. The complex, which will accommodate about 70 beds, will enable an effective response to the growing demand for specialised care in the Marche territory. The second is dedicated to technological innovation in the healthcare facilities already active in the area. In particular, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment will be introduced, aiming to optimise the timing, quality and effectiveness of the services provided to people with disabilities.

With this operation, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti confirms its commitment to supporting the Third Sector, contributing to the development of essential social and health services for the well-being and cohesion of local communities.
