The Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group attends the Business Forum in Mexico City to promote the international expansion of SMEs
Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering economic, commercial and industrial relations with Latin America by taking part in the Italy-Mexico Business Forum held in the Mexican capital on Thursday, 22 May. During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by CDP and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE) with the aim of further strengthening cooperation between companies in the two countries.
The agreement will enable the development of new joint initiatives, particularly in support of the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in both Italy and Mexico, facilitating investment and strengthening already strong trade relations.
Organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the Forum was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani together with the Mexican Minister of Economy Marcelo Ebrard, and brought together businesses and institutions from both nations as part of the Export Action Plan.
Speaking on behalf of the CDP Group at the plenary session were Laurent Franciosi, Head of International Market Development at CDP, and Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, CEO of Simest.
