Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI)Fondazione Telethon and JA Italia are the three organisations that won the “For Italy’s Future” call for proposals promoted by Fondazione CDP, the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group’s non-profit organisation. The projects proposed by the three organisations were selected for their ability to generate a tangible, lasting impact in the areas of sharing artistic heritage, social inclusion for young people and scientific research using Artificial Intelligence, and will be supported over the next two years with a total contribution of 10 million euros.

Here are the winning projects:

FAI – Civil service for cultural heritage
Designed to strengthen the bond between the public and artistic heritage, the project promotes educational initiatives and events for schools and families. Active across four sites in Italy – Villa Gregoriana, San Fruttuoso Abbey, Campatelli Tower and Home, Mountain Homes in the Valley of the Temples – the initiative encourages inclusion, participation and active citizenship.

Fondazione Telethon – AVANTI
In the area of scientific research, AVANTI proposes new solutions to help people living with rare genetic diseases, improving diagnoses and developing personalised treatments thanks to innovative technologies and artificial intelligence. Launched in September 2025, it has already started analysing clinical cases and studying genetic variants through cellular models. The objective is to provide concrete answers to millions of people, contributing to the advancement of medicine and the healthcare system.

JA Italia – UPSHIFT Generazione Pari
Focused on social inclusion, the project promotes educational programmes for girls and boys aged 11 to 18 to prevent gender-based violence, overcome stereotypes and promote respect, equality and inclusion at school. Launched in July 2025, it has already developed innovative educational content, built alliances between schools and associations and started an impact study with Human Foundation. The programme aims to involve an increasing number of young people in a journey of growth, respect and participation.

The “For Italy’s Future” call for proposals

  • Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano: 19.73%
