Metal Work at the forefront of sustainable development in the pneumatics sector

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Crédit Agricole Italia have granted the company €30 million to complete its investment plan

In the coming months, the company will integrate the specific ESG criteria to be achieved in the financing agreement

Contribute to making companies greener and more competitive on national and international markets, supporting their investments in strategic sectors of the Italian economy, such as pneumatics for industrial automation. These are the objectives of the €30 million loan signed by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Crédit Agricole Italia (CAI), also acting as agent, in favour of Metal Work, an Italian company specialising in the production of pneumatic components for automation systems.

The funds, of which CAI's share amounts to €20 million and CDP's share to €10 million, will allow the company to support the investments of its 2021-2025 Business Plan and to expand its current business in areas complementary to the pneumatics sector, further extending and diversifying the range of products already available. In addition, in line with CDP and Crédit Agricole's mission to support companies in the green transition, Metal Work will commit in the coming months to integrating the specific ESG criteria to be achieved in the financing agreement.

Founded in 1967 in Concesio (BS), Metal Work is today an example of the excellence of Made in Italy, working in the field of pneumatics for automation. With over 1,300 employees and 64 branches in Italy and abroad, the company offers a wide range of products divided into five lines: actuators, valves, air handling units, fittings and handling components.
