Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has signed two financing agreements, for a total of six million euros, to support the development initiatives in Italy of Dolciaria Acquaviva, a group that includes several historic Italian companies active in the production and marketing of frozen bakery products. The new investments are aimed at increasing the company's production capacity and improving its competitive position, mainly on the domestic market, through investments to support production capacity, equipment and facilities with a view to the company's sustainable growth.
With a turnover of over €100 million and more than 200 employees, Dolciaria Acquaviva is an Italian company with a 40-year history specialising in the production and marketing of frozen bakery products, both sweet (including croissants, buns, biscuits, desserts and pastries) and savoury (including bread, focaccia, pizzas and snacks). Dolciaria Acquaviva can count on direct and indirect sales structures that dominate the national and international Ho.Re.Ca. and Modern Trade markets, as well as the production capacity of its 4 plants spread throughout Italy, with 35,000 sqm and 10 specialised production lines
