SIMEST in April Financed Record 20 Italian Companies

CDP Group company reaffirms its commitment, alongside SACE, to support the internationalization of Made in Italy

SIMEST, in April closed deals with a record Italian 20 companies to help them grow in 9 countries throughout the world. 

The CDP Group subsidiary’s agreements last month aids in the expansion of Made in Italy in Albania, Mexico, Egypt, Arab Emirates, China, USA, Indonesia, Canada and India. SIMEST, together with SACE, form a hub to which Italian companies can turn for a hand in export and international-expansion growth.

Last month, Pantofola D'Oro and Agria Spa signed the “Inserimento sui mercati extra-UE" product, which facilitates Italian production growth into markets outside the European Union, financing the opening of physical commercial spaces - office, showroom, stores - and related promotional expenses.

Due to €1.28 million in SIMEST financing, Pantofola D'Oro will strengthen its commercial presence in the United States with the opening of a new showroom. The company, known for its handmade sport shoes, can consolidate and expand its sales in international markets.

In another agreement, Agri Spa, specializing in the packaging of legumes and cereals, will use a €655,000 loan to open a representative office in Dubai and attend the GulFood fair.

SIMEST also agreed to support Flumoreals Group, leader in the PTFE production, a material suitable for use in various industrial sectors.   SIMEST will help of Fluorseals Asia Manufacturing by paying €700,000 for 23% of the company in a capital increase. The operation will enable the opening of a production unit in China and facilitate international growth of the Group, recognized as one of the leading producers of semi-finished PTFE products, thanks to a solid business structure and constant research activity.
