CDP backs energy efficiency and the green economy with €7.5 million

Boosting investment in the energy transition, making production greener, and generating a positive impact on the local area and the environment: these are the goals of the €7.5 million loan provided by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti to Sciuker Frames, which has been a leading designer and producer of wood and aluminium fixtures for several years.

The loan, 50% of which is guaranteed through SACE's Green Guarantee, is intended to support the SCK Group's investments to make the company's Italian production sites more energy efficient and sustainable, in line with green economy principles. With the funding provided by Cassa, the company aims to complete a number of projects, including:

  • the extension of the surface area at its Pianodardine site (Avellino) so that solar panels covering the entire site can be installed;
  • four new fixture production lines: these will only be for wood, aluminium, steel/bronze and corten, through the purchase of machinery to manufacture products designed for the energy transition.

The Campania-based firm is the parent company of the leading collective of Italian-designed window and sunscreen manufacturers. The group was established by SCK Group, the first specialist producer and marketer of windows to list on the stock exchange, specifically on Euronext Growth Milan.
