Saipem, a CDP Group investee, has achieved a presence on four continents thanks to new drilling contracts worth €150 million.
With northern European partners Eni Portugal B.V. and Eni Norge, Saipem will operate off the coasts of Portugal and Norway. The giant Saipem 12000 ship and Scarabeo 8 sixth-generation semi-submersible are both able to navigate waters exceeding depths of 3,000 metres.
The other contracts will see Saipem manage drilling activities in South America, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Morocco.
