SACE announced an agreement with Boeing, the world's leading aerospace company, to secure $1.25 billion in credit lines for the sale of Boeing aircraft, in terms of supply and subcontracting contracts awarded to Italian companies specializing in aerospace precision components.

The agreement, which creates a sharing platform to facilitate the financing of mutual interest transactions, will be essential to strengthen cooperation with Boeing.

Boeing has initiated a project of great technological importance in collaboration with Leonardo's Aeronautics Division: the 787 Dreamliner, an innovative carbon fiber aircraft.

Data sheds light on the connection between Italy and Boeing: in 2015-2016, Boeing purchased $2.5 billion of supplies from Italian companies, helping create 12,000 jobs. The company has about 150 direct employees in Italy involved in roles such as managing relationships with partners and suppliers to operational services.

SACE has therefore reached a prestigious goal that falls under its mission to support and spread Made in Italy throughout the world.
