Cassa depositi e prestiti, along with its SACE and SIMEST subsidiaries, on opened a regional office in the Emilia Romagna and Marche regions, allowing them to be closer to clients.
"The strategic decision to be close to the territory, creating a one meeting point for our stakeholders, aims to strengthen the promotion role played by the CDP Group,” said CDP Chief Business Officer Antonella Baldino, at the inauguration of the new office on 9 March. “This is particularly relevant in these regions, where there are a lot of entrepreneurs open to international markets and a proactive Public Administration to work citizens and businesses. "
SACE and SIMEST together form a service hub for Italian companies seeking to expand internationally.
Baldino attended the ceremony along with SACE Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Decio, and Maurizio Marchesini, regional president of Confindustria Emilia Romagna and SIMEST vice president. The event celebrated the bond between the CDP Group and the territory, which can now count on a new point of contact with the experts of CDP, SACE and SIMEST for insights on topics such as access to credit, insurance and financial products, online management of funding, and new initiatives of the Group in the territory.
The latest opening falls within in the CDP Group’s path of creating new opportunities for dialogue with stakeholders, supporting Rome and Milan central offices with new regional offices that will ensure an increasingly strong presence in the country.
