MEF Liquidity Advances 2021

We are supporting the areas of the country hit by the pandemic emergency by opening up the terms for Liquidity Advances. By using the scheme, you can speed up payments to your administration's suppliers.

Under Decree Law No. 73 of 25 May 2021 (so-called Decreto Sostegni-bis), CDP, in coordination with the Ministry for the Economy and Finance, is managing funds made available by the State to accelerate the payment of trade payables accrued as of 31 December 2020.

Through this initiative, we are renewing our solid support for local authorities for the payment of certain, liquid and collectable debts relating to supplies, contracts and obligations for professional services, accrued by municipalities, provinces, metropolitan cities, mountain communities, unions of municipalities, regions and autonomous provinces.

 

Who it is aimed at

Municipalities, provinces, metropolitan cities, mountain communities, unions of municipalities, regions and autonomous provinces for the payment of trade payables accrued as at 31 December 2020.

 

How it works

The Liquidity Advance is an instrument provided for by "Decree Law No. 73 of 25 May 2021" to accelerate payments by local authorities following the protracted effects of the extraordinary COVID-19 emergency.

 

How to apply

Go to the State General Accounting Office's Trade Receivables Platform and download the Outstanding Payables Declaration form.
Apply for the Liquidity Advance directly to CDP online.

Applications may be submitted between 14 June and 7 July 2021.

Once the contract has been finalised, you will receive the liquidity funds for trade payables from CDP within 7 days.

  • You must pay your commercial suppliers within 30 days

You may repay the Liquidity Advance over the long term, up to 30 years.
