Digitization offers significant opportunities for growth and industrial competitiveness

The digital innovation in the industrial processes is now the key to the revival of production and manufacturing sector: a profound change that is called 4.0 Industry.

A complex and interesting topic analyzed at the 10th Italo-German  Economic Forum.

The great similarity between Italy and Germany from the economic point of view, both in terms of sector and company size, lays the foundations for an ever closer and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

This cooperation must be based on the digitization of production processes - a new challenge for the modern evolution of the economy, the revival of the economic sector, and the production and research to ensure that Europe plays a leading role in the evolution of the key issues of the future of the economy.

The Forum was introduced by the President of the Chamber of Commerce Italian-German Erwin Rauhe and Giuseppe Vita, Chairman of Unicredit. Speakers included the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi who will focus on the theme of the Italian-German economic relations 4.0, digitization and start-ups, and the  Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Uwe Beckmeyer who participated with a speech on "Italy and Germany: a successful partnership in the European economy."
