Fondazione CDP: a new public notice to support scientific health research

“In Sistema Ricerca” will be dedicated to contributing to the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan by supporting research projects and focusing on factors that enable sustainable growth for the country.

Contributing to the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) in the sector of scientific health research, supporting financing requests to enable research projects that already receive European funds: this is the objective of the new “In Sistema Ricerca” public notice promoted by Fondazione CDP.

The notice – open from 4 to 29 September – results from rigorous analysis of the research projects currently underway in our country that are already subsidised by European funds, but for which additional resources are needed in order to cover costs not included among those that can be financed by the NRRP.

Targeted at researchers employed by Italian public or private non-profit research institutions, as well as Scientific Hospitalisation and Care Institutes (IRCCS), the aim of the “In Sistema Ricerca” notice is to assist in achieving the objectives set by the country in this sector, acting as a supplement to funds already provided by the European Commission through the NRRP.

The resources made available by Fondazione CDP, up to one million euros, will therefore be used to cover additional financing requests for research initiatives already receiving NRRP funds from the Ministry of Health, if such expenses are considered unquestionably necessary to facilitate implementation of the project.

The notice will be available on the Fondazione CDP website from 4 September 2023.
