Vard Holdings Limited (Vard), a subsidiary of Fincantieri (CDP Group) engaged in the design and construction of offshore vessels and special ships, has signed a letter of intent with an international shipowner for the design and construction of two small cruise ships
The ships are being designed in cooperation with the customer, with a specific emphasis on the quality of the facilities and the highest anti-pollution and safety requirements. Fincantieri will contribute to the process by providing a number of key parts made in Italy.
Through this agreement, Vard reinforces the diversification strategy it has implemented in close collaboration with Fincantieri, which has already brought significant results with the achievement of prestigious goals, such as a letter of intent for four small luxury cruise ships with the French shipowner Ponant, a subsidiary of the Artemis group.
