A €60 million loan for the development of the infrastructure network of a leading telecommunications company
Helping develop Italian infrastructure with innovative projects is the objective of the lastest operation signed by Cassa depositi e prestiti and the European Investment Bank with leading wireless broadband service provider Linkem.
Linkem will receive a €60 million long-term loan from EIB in two tranches, completing the funding for the development plan of its infrastructural network, which already covers about 65% of Italian territory. CDP agreed to guarantee one of the tranches, equal to 50% of the loan.
Linkem’s loan agreement was finalized in light of the positive results achieved by the Rome-based company in 2017, which, with over 500 thousand customers and €100 million euros in revenue, is ready to seize the opportunities of a market experiencing rapid growth.
