Cassa Depositi e Prestiti is financing Zamperla, one of the key players in the amusement rides market. The Vicenza based company, founded in 1966, specialises in the production of transportable rides and fixed-installation attractions, designed for large amusement parks, indoor entertainment and leisure centres.

The financing, pooled with leading banking institutions, aims to support new investments, especially for the “Luna Farm” theme park, in the FICO food district in Bologna. It's the largest food park in the world, covering a total area of around 6500 square metres, with 15 rides, many settings and animations, video games, virtual reality and 4D cinema.

Zamperla has around 450 employees, with a turnover of 120 million euros, the majority of which is made abroad: 65% in Asia, 17% in the United States, 8% in Europe and 7% in South America. The 4 production facilities are located in Italy, Slovakia and the Philippines.

The company is active in all stages of project development, from the initial stages to the finished product, from technical assistance to park management, offering a wide range of products and services to make the product instantly usable and keep it in perfect condition over time.
