5 million euro loan for the Trentino-based company
Manufacturing large machinery and machining centres for strategic sectors including shipbuilding, railways, energy and aerospace. Pama, an Italian company, has been transforming this idea into a great mission since 1926. With 90 years of experience in the field the Rovereto-based company is now a world leader, with more than 80% of its production destined for major foreign markets: China, India, Russia, Germany and the United States are all supported by a widespread network of sales and service facilities.
That’s why Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and SACE have decided to support Pama's development plans with a 5 million euro loan, for 72 months, backed by the Garanzia Italia (Italian Guarantee).
This agreement will support the company’s growth plan and competitiveness on the domestic and international markets, as well as its innovation and digitalisation projects. The company exports its machine tools to five continents, enhancing the reputation of "Made in Italy" worldwide.
This commitment confirms Cassa Depositi e Prestiti’s support for the country and Italian companies, especially during this global pandemic.
