Tools and best practices to help businesses prevent digital risks
What can a company do to avoid becoming another statistic in payment fraud?
Practical guidance is provided by Payment Security: A Practical Guide for Businesses , a publication developed by CDP and presented at WeSec, the Security Expo promoted by the Italian Banking Association (ABI). The guide was created to support small and medium-sized enterprises in preventing and managing fraud affecting payment processes.
Structured around operational scenarios, tailored to company size and accompanied by ready-to-use tools, the guide provides checklists, verification procedures, communication templates and escalation pathways. Its practical approach is designed to help companies strengthen their internal controls and identify the main warning signs of fraud at an early stage.
The publication was presented during a workshop organised by CDP’s Corporate Security team as part of WeSec, the event dedicated to the challenges of cybersecurity, operational resilience and critical infrastructure security. During the event, Nicola Vanin, Head of the Corporate Security function, took part in a panel discussion on the evolving threat landscape and cybersecurity as an issue of both corporate and national security.
