Rome, 5 December 2014 - Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP) announces that Shareholders, meeting today under the chairmanship of Franco Bassanini, voted unanimously for Giovanni Gorno Tempini to remain in the position of CDP's chief executive officer.
Rome, 5 December 2014 - Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP) announces that Shareholders, meeting today under the chairmanship of Franco Bassanini, voted unanimously for Giovanni Gorno Tempini to remain in the position of CDP's chief executive officer. The meeting, attended by 99.2% of CDP Shareholders, was convened pursuant to Article 15, Section 4 of CDP’s bylaws (the “ethics clause”) following the notice by Trani prosecutor (Procura della Repubblica di Trani) related to a summons to appear in court for Gorno Tempini.
The call of the shareholders’ meeting and the proposal to confirm Gorno Tempini as CEO had been unanimously approved by CDP’s Board of Directors (with the abstention of Gorno Tempini), that after careful consideration of the notice by the Trani prosecutor, confirmed the confidence in the chief executive officer.
