The regional offices open in the Marche capital
Supporting around 300 public bodies and over 5,500 companies, improving links with banking partners and local institutions to promote the region’s economic and infrastructural development. Cassa Depositi e Prestiti renews its commitment to the Marche Region through the opening of a new office in Ancona.
The offices, opened today in Largo Sacramento 4, will allow full regional coverage for the Mid-Adriatic area, thanks to the already operational CDP Spaces in Perugia and Chieti and the forthcoming CDP Space in L'Aquila. The new offices, where 10 Group staff members will work when at full capacity, will be fully operational reference points and not merely representative offices, providing a local presence of professionals able to respond to the needs of companies and public administrations. The event, strictly digital and broadcast in streaming, was attended by the President of the Marche Region Francesco Acquaroli, the Mayor of Ancona Valeria Mancinelli and the Chief Executive Officer of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Fabrizio Palermo. On the occasion of the opening of the new regonal offices, two important memoranda of understanding were announced which will be signed in the next few days. The first, agreed with the Marche Region, provides for technical and financial advice from CDP for the planning, design and implementation of infrastructural activities in the healthcare and road sectors. The memoranda with the Municipality of Ancona, on the other hand, relates to a technical-financial partnership focused on projects for local public transport and school, sports and port buildings, and urban regeneration. A third agreement was signed recently with the Province of Pesaro Urbino, which provides for a consultancy service for schools construction and more specifically for the construction of two schools and a gym. An exhibition illustrating CDP's commitment to reconstruction was also set up inside the new offices: "Raw material. Nourishment and collective scenarios". Artist Tanio Liotta’s installations and the images of photographer Claudio Colotti’s "Mai +" reportage provide an insight into CDP’s activities as part of its mission for the promotion and sustainable development of the country, covering its activities to support and reconstruct those places hit by the 2016 earthquake in Central Italy.
