Group to embark on projects to combat climate change

The CDP Group will manage the financial resources allocated by Italy’s Ministry for the Protection of the Environment, Land and Sea for development projects in Italian partner countries.
An agreement on the subject – signed today by the two institutions – gives the CDP Group responsibility for managing and disbursing funds for projects on controlling climate change, taking place in countries particularly at risk of environmental problems.
The agreement with the Environment Ministry underlines CDP’s role as Financial Institution for Development Cooperation and integrates fully with the Group’s planned sustainability activities.
