CDP launches the Generation Y challenge in Europe

What does Generation Y want in the workplace? How can their expectations be met at European level?

This was the focus of the "Promoting Generation Y" meeting, promoted and organised by CDP's European Affairs and HR departments, as part of the "Big 5 + 1" initiative, which brings together the 5 main European National Promotional Banks and Institutions - Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC), Instituto de Credito Oficial (ICO), Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), as well as CDP - and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

The central focus of the meeting held this 21 January was Generation Y, those born between the 80s and 1996 (also known as Millennials, because they became adults during the new millennium).
It focused on challenges and issues such as leadership, the transformation of corporate culture, performance assessment and collaboration between various internal teams, and it was an opportunity to share best practice among the various institutions.

The goal is to set up a range of common innovative projects dedicated to international exchange opportunities, welfare, individual growth and employer branding, which are due to be launched at the annual meeting of the CEOs of the six institutions, to be held in Poland next June.
