Social Housing Operation for the development of new housing mode
This summer, the sea comes up to the Cascina Torrette Trenno, twenty minutes from the center of Milan, in a converted agricultural structure dating from the 1600s that now serves as the living room to the social housing building called The Place of Change, leading expertise in Europe for the development of new housing models.
The building of Via Cenni (123 apartments plus gardens, shops and public areas) is enhanced by a special court yard to share music, art, bread baked in a wood oven, homemade furnishings, creative workshops, and games for children. In 1700 square meters of the area there is also an office for the co-working spaces dedicated to training, artistic residencies, projects with the territory, two music rehearsal rooms, a kitchen with a garden and all the enthusiasm to engage the 'entire neighborhood with a summer program of all respect, overseen by association Mare Culturale Urbano.
Elements of social housing change and Cascina Torrette Trenno are projects realized via Fondo Lombardia, of which CDP is the largest investor (64%) with a contribution of 304 million euros allocated to achieve 4,300 lodgings and 905 beds.
