CDP for Tourism, the Italian School of Hospitality is launched

Sustainability, education, human capital development, digitisation and a focus on the customer. These are the main themes of the first Master Executive in Hospitality Management at the Italian School of Hospitality, launched in a three-day digital event with Federico Cafiero De Raho, Anti-Mafia and Counter-Terrorism Public Prosecutor, giving a speech on the value of legality and work, particularly in Southern Italy, and CDP CEO Fabrizio Palermo.

The model for the Italian School of Hospitality is the Campus for higher education, a system which integrates classroom training with field experience.

This is an important project for CDP, stemming from the need to support the competitiveness and innovation of companies in a strategic sector such as Italian tourism. In other words, helping to spread our country’s excellence internationally. This commitment has led to the creation of the National Tourism Fund (Fondo Nazionale del Turismo), through which Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has put in place €2 billion to protect employment levels and improve the value of Italy's historic and iconic hotels throughout the country.

In the upcoming months, the tourism accelerator will also be launched, with a focus on Southern Italy, to further stimulate the launch of startups that can grow and supply products for the entire sector.
