Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP) announces that Fabrizio Palermo is the new Chief Financial Officer and has been appointed by the board of directors, meeting today, Manager charged with preparing corporate financial reports. Both positions will be effective starting from 1 October 2014.
Palermo succeeds Andrea Novelli, who was named General Manager of CDP by the board of directors on 30 July 2014.
Palermo, who moves to CDP in agreement with Fincantieri Spa (controlled by CDP through Fintecna Spa) - where he was Vice General Manager and CFO - began his career as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in London. He then worked as a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Co and in 2005 joined Fincantieri as director of Business development and Corporate finance.
