It had never happened before: a world famous opera house puts a show on the bill consisting entirely of young performers from Academy, the artistic training ground that supplies the future of the Italian culture that becomes the event’s main attraction.  CDP is the strategic partner of the initiative because - in its role as National Promotional Institution - guarantees Italy’s path of development and growth.

In this respect, from September 2 to 26, Mozart's Magic Flute enchants Milan with 175 under-30 talented artists, selected from among the 1,200 students of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. Young performers in training who for a year have been able to work with big names of the scene: director Peter Stein and Adam Fisher orchestra conductor. "It was a real challenge," said the Superintendent Alexander Pereira, and above all "a comprehensive partnership" added CDP Chairman Claudio Costamagna.  A new opportunity of excellence for Italian youth is already being planned for 2017:  "Hansel und Gretel" by Humperdinck.
