CDP across the country: a Bari office for Puglia, Basilicata and Molise

A new regional office to work alongside local authorities: CDP opens its Bari office, the seventh in Italy and the third in Southern Italy, together with Naples and Palermo. The initiative is a new point of reference for organisations, companies, banks and other stakeholders for information on financing and financial measures dedicated to supporting the economy of Puglia, Basilicata and Molise and a response to CDP's strategic objective to get closer to local communities.

The Bari office represents a single contact point with CDP, SACE and SIMEST experts, for in-depth information on topics such as access to credit, insurance and financial products, online management of loans and new Group regional initiatives. Antonella Baldino, Chief Business Officer of CDP, expressed satisfaction for the initiative: "We agreed with Mayor Decaro on the importance of being located in Bari, bringing our dedicated financial solutions close to local finance and investment projects in regions such as Puglia, Basilicata and Molise and generating a positive impact on regional growth. The decision to complete the CDP regional network with a new representative office in the Mezzogiorno [Southern Italy] further reiterates the Group's commitment in this direction".

"This is an important event for the region and for the local authority system of Puglia, Basilicata and Molise - said Mayor Antonio Decaro -.we now have a branch of Cassa depositi e prestiti available in our city, which opens up great opportunities for growth for our community as well as being an important for the status of Bari. As mayor of Bari and the metropolitan area, I am particularly proud that the finalisation of this new CDP regional mission coincides with the commitment I have given as ANCI chairman to bring the most important financial institution of public investment closer to needs of local communities and local authorities".
