It has helped finance the leading cybersecurity company, together with a pool of banks
24 million euros for Maticmind, an Italian company specialising in the sale of professional solutions and services related to cybersecurity, networking and data centre development. This is a summary of the terms of the deal between Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and a pool of banks in favour of one of the country’s key new ICT companies.
Founded in 2005 from the spin-off of the Italian business of the Swiss Ascom AG, Maticmind is growing company that has seen its turnover triple in recent years to 300 million euros in 2019, and employs over 800 staff in 12 operating sites across the country.
CDP's support for Maticmind is also underlined by the Italian Investment Fund’s investment in the company, with the strategic aim of supporting the company on a further long-term organic development path.
The agreement is in line with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti's mission and is part of the Group's broad strategy to strengthen the global competitiveness of Italian companies operating in strategic sectors of excellence, encouraging consolidation and integration, and promoting the country’s digital transformation.
