The Italian component industry is one of the first choices of all car manufacturers, and Prima Sole Components represents a spearhead in the sector, thanks to its ability to respond promptly to the needs of an increasingly selective market, where success depends on having the best idea at the right time.
The company, established through the merger of Prima SpA, with registered office in Torrice (Frosinone) and Sole SpA of Oderzo (Treviso), operates in the sector of the design and manufacture of plastic components for automotive, motor vehicle and household appliances, specialising in systems for car interiors and exteriors. Currently, it boasts a turnover of 140 million euros - of which 60% is from outside the national borders - and employs over 3,000 employees, with numerous plants in Italy, France, Germany, Slovakia and Brazil, and has around 250 suppliers, mainly SMEs.
The Torrice-based company’s 2018-2022 business plan provides for investments of 100 million euros, aimed at increasing production capacity and the company’s international presence. This decision has led to the start of a further chapter in the already consolidated relationship with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
CDP has been a reference partner in Prima Sole's growth processes for many years and, with a total loan of 25 million euros, the Group has chosen to support the company both in its medium-term growth plans and in its expansion and international growth initiatives, as chairman Maurizio Stirpe explains in the video presenting this innovative Made in Italy success story.
