Ansaldo Energia: New Service Agreements in Russia and Siberia

The CDP Group subsidiary continues its international growth path through two maintenance agreements of thermoelectric power plants

Ansaldo Energia, a CDP subsidiary, internationally promotes its know-how with a pair of new five-year long-term service agreements. For Russia’s Yuzhunouralskaya GRES, a subsidiary of Inter RAO Electrogeneration JSC company, Genoa-based Ansaldo Energia will conduct maintenance on four turbines and two generators in the combined cycle power plant located approximately 100 kilometers south of Chelyabinks, Russia. The second service agreement was recently awarded to Ansaldo Energia by Siberian OAO Fortum to service two gas turbine in the combined heat and power plant located in Western Siberia.

These new agreements reaffirm the international growth of service activities carried out by Ansaldo Energia, especially in Russia, where over the last five years the Italian company have been contracted to service over twenty gas turbines. Assignments in Russia also testifies to Ansaldo Energia’s versatility, the capability not only to service not only turnkey plants, but also other manufacturers’ power generation equipment.

Through its subsidiary’s successes, CDP contributes to promote Italian know-how in the world in line with its Business Plan 2016/2020.
