Sustainability

We have introduced guidelines and policies on sustainability into the company’s regulatory framework to achieve our goals through coordinated action between departments and top management, as well as to inform our investors and stakeholders.

 

Our internal regulations

The value of sustainability is a cornerstone for CDP Equity.

The organisational structure consists of policies, regulations and procedures. Our ambition is to be increasingly guided by policies that support the implementation of our sustainability strategy and its natural development over time.  

Below are the main documents and policies adopted with the aim of integrating sustainability into our business and operating model:

Code of Ethics Group Code of Conduct containing a set of social and moral rules that everyone must follow.
Sustainability Framework Describes the guiding and methodological principles, the areas and operating procedures that CDP Equity adopts and implements in the integration and management of sustainability within its organisational system, business decisions and operational processes, in compliance with external and related internal regulations.
General Responsible Investment Policy Defines the guiding principles for direct and indirect investments based on ESG criteria.
General Diversity, Fairness and Inclusion Policy Defines the guiding principles and operating procedures for promoting the values of diversity, fairness and inclusion towards internal and external stakeholders, through actions in four key areas: people, business, procurement and communications.
Energy Sector Policy This policy sets out the areas of intervention and exclusion for investment activities in the energy sector and aims to integrate ESG factors into business processes, identify the treatment criteria for the areas to be promoted in line with the Group’s Strategic Guidelines developed for the sector and define the limitation and exclusion criteria.
Defence and Security Sector Policy Guides CDP Equity’s operations in the defence and security sector, establishing criteria for engagement, limitation and exclusion.
Transport Sector Policy Guides CDP Equity’s operations in the transport sector, which includes the building of infrastructure, the construction of vehicles (excluding the production of parts) and the provision of services for road transport, rail transport and fixed installations, transport by sea and inland waterways, and air transport, establishing criteria for engagement, limitation and exclusion.
General Stakeholder Engagement Policy  Regulates the ongoing dialogue and relationship between CDP Equity and all its stakeholders, further consolidating and strengthening the Company’s transparency and commitment toward all interested parties, with the aim of promoting solid and sustainable corporate governance.

Annex - Supplier Code of ConductCodice Condotta Fornitori
Defines the guiding principles and operational methods to continuously promote best practices in environmental, social, and good governance sustainability within the supply chain, along two main lines: (i) compliance with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle for the environment, and (ii) protection of workers' rights and human rights. This also takes into account that the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) emphasizes the crucial role of the entire value chain of every 
General Wellbeing Policy It defines CDP Equity’s commitment to ensuring a positive, fair, and stimulating work environment through the adoption of principles and initiatives aimed at its people, designed to promote work-life balance and overall mental and physical well-being.
General Internal Footprint Policy The document reiterates and formalizes CDP Equity’s commitment to reducing its direct environmental impact, that is, the impact generated through the implementation of its operational model. This commitment extends to all areas within the scope of the Policy (e.g., buildings, travel/mobility, raw material consumption, waste management, etc.) and includes monitoring performance and impacts in order to promptly identify any corrective actions necessary to mitigate them.
