Chairman of CDP Equity
Born in Lecce in 1967, Paolo Perrone graduated with honours in Business Administration (specialising in Administration and Control) from Bocconi University in Milan. He also obtained a diploma in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from HEC Paris (École des Hautes Études Commerciales).
Since October 2025, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of CDP Equity.
Since 2023, he has also chaired the Board of Directors of the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute, where he performs functions of strategic direction, governance oversight and institutional representation. In the same year, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Links Management and Technology SpA, with responsibilities for strategic guidance, coordination of board activities and oversight of corporate governance processes, supporting the company’s growth and positioning in the ICT sector.
He is currently also a member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Italian Encyclopaedia Institute (Treccani).
He is a member of the General Council of Aspen Institute Italia.
He is registered with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts and in the Register of Statutory Auditors.
