The second Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme, promoted by CDP Academy in partnership with POLIMI Graduate School of Management has come to a close.

The two-year graduate programme was undertaken by a total of 40 candidates, 20 drawn directly from the CDP Group and another 20 from investee companies participating in the CDP Academy Network: Ansaldo Energia, Fincantieri, Italgas, Open Fiber, Poste Italiane, Nexi, Snam and Terna.

The chief aim of the programme is to promote a management mindset focused on innovation, inclusive leadership and business initiative, while facilitating knowledge exchange between the centres of excellence of the CDP Group and its investee companies and networking among the participants.

The graduation ceremony was held on 7 March in Rome. Graduation Day was attended by Mauro Mancini, Associate Dean for Corporate Education, POLIMI GSoM, Giovanni Gorno Tempini, Chairman of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and Chief Executive Officer Dario Scannapieco, who all stressed the importance of investing in education and the value of the skills developed.

“At Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, we recognise the value of skills as a driver of progress and innovation,” remarked Maurizio di Fonzo, Head of People and Organisation. “Investing in high-level education enriches not only the individual, but strengthens the social and economic fabric. Advanced skills are a catalyst for productivity and for promoting sustainable economic growth. They lie at the heart of the knowledge economy, where value added comes from the ability to think critically, solve complex problems and adapt quickly to change.”

“We’re excited to be celebrating the success of the Corporate MBA, an ambitious programme focused on innovation. The partnership with CDP Academy reflects our constant commitment to working with the business world to promote an advanced management mindset. This partnership with the CDP Group and its investee companies has enabled us to offer a cutting-edge learning programme, one perfectly attuned to the POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s objective of shaping leaders willing and able to take up the challenges of the contemporary business world,” said Mauro Mancini, Associate Dean for Corporate Education, POLIMI GSoM.
