A Nearly Zero-Emission school in Vipiteno

CDP has provided loan financing for 9.3 million euro, as well as technical advise to restore and redevelop the building

To respond more effectively to the needs of local authorities, in recent years, CDP has combined its traditional investment financing activities with technical advisory services aimed at enhancing the redevelopment and restoration of works.

The Vipiteno municipality took advantage of both solutions to renovate and expand its secondary educational institution, which houses the 'Konrad Fischnaler' and the 'Vigil Raber' schools. The current building, which dates back to the 1980s, will be completely redesigned and renovated to offer its 500 students a safe, modern and functional school environment.

These features are complemented by a very high energy performance, allowing the buildings to be classified as NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) with near-zero emissions.

The project not only restores the school building but also aims to create a meeting point for the local community: spaces and facilities will be made available for cultural and recreational events and activities.

CDP financed the operation with a loan of 9.3 million euro and provided the municipality with technical advice for the management of the project: from the design to the tendering of the works and all the way through the administrative process to benefit from public grants.
