On 11 and 12 November, Finance in Common brings together the entire global ecosystem of more than 450 national, regional and multilateral Public Development Banks.
The aim of the event is to highlight the key role of Public Development Banks in responding effectively and swiftly to global challenges such as the Covid-19 crisis through solutions that promote sustainable growth and have a long-term impact on a global scale. In this way, Public Development Banks can make a decisive contribution to promoting green initiatives and achieving the 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals.
The event, which will be held in the Paris Peace Forum, under the high patronage of the French President Emmanuel Macron and with the participation of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, will be attended by heads of state and government, representatives of international organisations (including the European Commission, IMF, COP26, UN and OECD), the private sector, civil society and the academic world.
Cassa Deposti e Prestiti, a member of the International Development Finance Club and the European Long Term Investors' Association, is one of the promoters of this important initiative. By taking part in the Finance in Common Summit, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti confirms its standing on the international scene with its dual role of Financial Institution for Development Cooperation and National Promotion Institute, having always been committed to promoting growth and employment, supporting innovation and competitiveness of businesses, infrastructure and the country.
