At the Tunisia–Italy Business Forum, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, SIMEST, SACE and the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the international expansion of Italian companies in the Tunisian market
The CDP Group took part in the Tunisia–Italy Business Forum, held in Tunis on 24 and 25 June. Organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad and the respective Embassies, the event aimed to strengthen the economic partnership between Italy and Tunisia.
The Forum brought together institutions, businesses and trade associations from both countries through a comprehensive programme of meetings designed to foster closer ties between the productive systems of the two economies and support Italian companies seeking to expand into the Tunisian market.
The opening ceremony featured institutional addresses by Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Head of Government of the Republic of Tunisia, H.E. Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri. Representing the CDP Group were Laurent Franciosi, Head of Global Markets Development at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and Regina Corradini D'Arienzo, Chief Executive Officer of SIMEST.
Through its participation in the Forum, CDP reaffirms its commitment to supporting Italy's business system in its international growth, helping to strengthen the presence of Italian companies in Tunisia and deepen the economic ties between the two countries.
